This position is for a Clinical Nurse I in the Vascular Surgery department at Albany Medical Center. The unit consists of 16 beds with 6 private rooms and 5 semi-private rooms, serving acute and chronically ill surgical patients. The primary diseases treated include vascular disease and surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring. Patients range in age from 18 to 90+ with the majority between 45-65 years. Plans of care include but are not limited to Carotid Endarterectomy, Lower Extremity Revascularization, Renal Stenting, and Vascular Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Patients.
