B3West is a 24-bed unit, private rooms in the post-surgical services. The primary population is elective orthopedic surgery & Total Joint surgery. The nursing staff cares for post-surgical patients as well as orthopedic trauma and general medical-surgical patients.

The Senior Orthopedic Clinical Nurse provides compassionate and high-quality care to patients undergoing elective orthopedic surgeries and total joint replacements. Essential duties include implementing physician orders, administering medications, evaluating patient responses to care, and collaborating with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients. Minimum qualifications include a graduate nursing degree, current nursing license, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as knowledge of quality improvement principles and techniques.
