Senior General Surgery Trauma Nurse

Department/Unit: General Surgery/Trauma-B3

Work Shift: Night

Job Description Summary

• Administer medications, start IVs, perform procedures and document treatment
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
• Assess patient needs and response to care
• Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses
• Collaborate with nursing team to create care plans

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional nursing program
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills
