Senior Clinical Nurse

Department/Unit: Vascular Surgery - M5

Work Shift: Night

Join our team at a pioneering Vascular Surgical Center! We are looking for a compassionate Senior Clinical Nurse to care for patients with vascular disease and surgical needs. Our ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care and possess excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. • Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care rendered
• Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
• Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional academic nursing program
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
• Knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques
