Through community outreach initiatives, educational programs, and exhibits designed for children ages 0-8, the Museum strives to Spark every child's imagination, sense of discovery and learning through the power of play.

Are you a superstar when it comes to customer service and sales calls? Children's Museum of Atlanta is hiring a Reservations and Sales Associate. This is a part time, 30 hours/week, non-exempt, hourly position that reports to the Reservations Manager.

Primary Role:

Provide exceptional customer service, while selling school field trips, birthday parties, general admission tickets and other Museum programs through phone calls and emails.


  • Sales and bookings for Museum birthday parties, general admission, group reservations, school field trips and other Museum activities.
  • Meets weekly sales call goals & tracks sales call progress
  • Membership sales as needed
  • Manages records of all reservations
  • Answers phone, email & fax inquiries
  • Communicates, internally, reservation matters, ticketing issues and/or Altru issues
  • Conducts follow up calls & emails for deposits, confirmations and guest lists
  • Researches & reaches out to prospective new contacts & schools
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Excellent organizational, communication, written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work, both independently and collaboratively as a team member, with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable cold calling organizations to grow sales for a variety of Museum activities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Knowledge of Altru group sales, or other group sales software
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Pleasant phone voice
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be available to work some weekend days and holidays

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience: 3 to 5 years experience in customer service.
