Registered Nurse II in General Surgery Trauma B3

Join our team as a Registered Nurse II in the General Surgery/Trauma-B3 department working the night shift. You will play a crucial role in creating a compassionate environment for patients and their families. Your responsibilities will include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments and procedures, and documenting patient care. Additionally, you will be assessing patient needs, providing primary and emergency care, and collaborating with the nursing team to create personalized care plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a professional nursing program
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
• Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills
• Knowledge of quality improvement principles and problem-solving tools
