Registered Nurse II: General Medical/Surgical

Job Description Summary

The Registered Nurse II provides compassionate and attentive care to patients, families, and colleagues. They implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments and procedures while adhering to company policies and regulations. The nurse evaluates patient needs, collaborates with the nursing team to create care plans, and maintains professional standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional nursing program
• Current RN license
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of quality improvement principles and problem-solving techniques
