Work Shift: Day

Salary Range: $34.65 - $35.69 per hour

Overview: The Colorectal Surgery and Urology Unit at Albany Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join their team. This unit specializes in providing post-surgical care to patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders and administer medications
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
• Direct and guide ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license
• Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
