The Medical Center provides mainly outpatient services involving medical imaging, Laboratory, pharmacy, behavioral health clinics, and primary care services. The Optometrist will be affiliated with a nationally renowned award winning health system.
The next Optometrist will examine patients having a full range of visual problems, diagnose visual diseases, disorders, and deficiencies, and prescribe treatment as licensed. The Optometrist Determines visual requirements of the partially sighted. Prescribes low-vision aids such as telescopic and microscopic lenses, magnifiers, and other optical devices to aid low-vision patients.
Requirements include:
- Graduation from an accredited school of Optometry required.
- License, Certification, Registration. License in good standing in the State of Maryland, District of Columbia, or Virginia required.
- National Provider Identification (NPI) required.
- Expert knowledge and previous Optometry experience for at least one year.
