Operating Room Registered Nurse II

Work Shift: Evening

Hourly Range: $34.65 - $35.69

Position Summary:

• Assess, coordinate, plan, and manage surgical patient care
• Advocate for patients during surgical procedures
• Ensure delivery of competent and compassionate patient care

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders and administer medications
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care
• Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions
• Guide ancillary personnel and maintain professional nursing standards

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a professional nursing program
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), CNOR preferred
• 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience preferred
• Knowledge of quality improvement principles

The Operating Room at our Main Campus has 35 state-of-the-art operating suites with advanced robotic technology and specialty rooms for various patients.
