The Maternity Services Nurse Manager will join a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering the highest caliber of care in a facility with over 20 specialities.
The Nurse Manager of Maternity Services will be responsible for quality and performance improvement activities within the department while bolstering a positive team atmosphere. The Labor and Delivery Manager will oversee 17 FTE's in the 14 bed department. Reporting to the Director of Women's Services, the Maternity Nurse Manager will practice within the framework of the healthcare organization's mission, vision, and values while focusing on producing excellent patient outcomes, patient and family engagement, workforce management/ development, and clinical efficiency.
The role of the Women's Services Nurse Manager is influential in creating a professional environment and fostering a highly reliable culture that results in optimal patient outcomes and the professional development of team members, while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
The RN Manager of Labor and Delivery requires 3 to 5 years of related experience. A BSN is required, and an MSN is preferred.
