An accredited acute care hospital located just south of the DC beltway is currently searching for an experienced Night Shift Respiratory Therapist to join their award-winning healthcare team.

The Night Shift Respiratory Therapist will join a medical destination that offers a number of medical and surgical specialties including internal medicine, behavioral health, oncology and cancer care, advanced surgical services, cardiovascular and pulmonary services, and women's health among many others.
The Night Shift Respiratory Therapist will join a service line that provides both inpatient and outpatient services to diagnose and treat a number of breathing conditions. This pulmonology service line provides care for a number of respiratory complications including asthma, chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), dyspnea, emphysema, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, sleep apnea, pneumonia, and pulmonary hypertension. This pulmonology service line utilizes a variety of therapies and treatments to combat respiratory illness such as ambulating saturation, arterial blood gas sampling, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, diffusion studies, impulse oscillmetry, lung volumes, maximum expiratory pressure, maximum inspiratory pressure, pulse oximetry, and spirometry.
The Night Shift Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for the management, rehabilitation, and evaluation of patients within the respiratory services department. The ideal candidate for this role will have at minimum an Associate's degree from an approved Respiratory program and will also have comprehensive Respiratory Therapy experience within a hospital setting. This position will interact with both pediatric and adult populations. This is a night shift position, evening shifts are also available.
