Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Clinical Nurse II

Hours: Day shift

The Clinical Nurse II in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit provides compassionate patient care, administers medications, performs treatments and procedures, and collaborates with the nursing team to create individualized care plans. This role may involve access to sensitive information and requires adherence to privacy regulations.

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments and special tests.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
• Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
• Direct and guide ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
