Neuroscience and Epilepsy Clinical Nurse II

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care rendered
• Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
• Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience
• Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational and time-management skills
