Neuroscience and Epilepsy Clinical Nurse I

Department/Unit: Neuroscience & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)

Work Shift: Night

The Neuroscience and Epilepsy Clinical Nurse I is responsible for implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments and procedures, and documenting treatment as required. They assess patient needs, evaluate responses to care, and apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions. Additional responsibilities include ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests, providing primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, and collaborating with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
