An award-winning teaching hospital located in upstate New York is currently searching for an experienced Manager Quality and Performance Improvement to join their accredited healthcare team.

This state-of-the-art acute care hospital is home to nearly 200 licensed beds and provides comprehensive care to over 600,000 patients annually. The Manager Quality and Performance Improvement will work in an acute care system that provides advanced services such as open-heart surgery, specialized cancer treatments, emergency and trauma care, cardiac and vascular care, neurosurgery, perioperative services, women's health, pediatrics, and much more. Reporting to the Network Director of Quality, the Manager will lead the system-wide Quality and Performance Improvement operations driving professional development and a positive organization culture. The Manager Quality and Performance Improvement is supported by a team of experienced Quality and Performance Improvement Specialists to align organization goals, lead professional development projects, optimize department workflows, partner with external vendors, and help lead the overall quality of healthcare for the surrounding communities. The Manager will interact with various system leaders and external care partners.

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's level degree required
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required
  • 3-5 years prior experience in performance improvement or quality management setting
