This role will play a vital role in leading talent management strategy at Ingevity. S/he will be responsible for the annual Gallup survey data, pulses and related employee engagement initiatives, talent development programs, and succession planning processes and system-related activities. This role also holds shared accountability for organization-wide change management, team development, new manager assimilations, and M&A change management.

How you will impact Ingevity

  • Assists with system selection develops system expertise and manages ongoing system and processes for programs operating outside of Workday.
  • Provides back up for Workday system administration and onboarding tasks
  • Partners with Total Rewards to analyze and track Talent retention and Learning metrics
  • Measures results & effectiveness of Learning programs and Talent programs such as the talent review, rotation programs and Perform.
  • Maintains company learning management system and provides customized learning journeys as needed
  • Launch and maintain mentoring process and system
  • Support ongoing success of Ingevity's performance management process including metrics, pulses and program modifications
  • Work closely with the HRIS Team to collect and coordinate aggregate data for the talent pool and translate those data into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels
  • Manage annual Gallup survey, pulses, and related employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide expertise in individual and team assessments
  • Ensure flawless execution of the Global Talent Program and other programs and initiatives.
  • Develop strategies and programs to continuously drive culture, build leadership capability and employee engagement
  • Define and measure success metrics to assess short- and long-term effectiveness of global talent program and other initiatives
  • Creates and documents processes for new initiatives including: Mentoring system, Gallup engagement survey, and Multi-rater assessments.
  • Manages, designs and creates tools, SharePoint sites and drafts communication materials for Talent and Learning programs.
  • Creates and manages project plans and manages logistics for the Global Talent Program and other learning programs, in US, UK and in China, as required.

What you Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Educational Technology, or related area.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience with increasing responsibility in the areas of Human Resources Management with a successful consultative style relating to HR applications, data compilation/process mapping & analysis
  • 5+ years proficiency in administration of learning or talent management systems (Workday).
  • Ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary efforts and communicate with both technical and non-technical users
  • M&A integration experience a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate, influence and build relationships with all levels within the organization, from the individual contributor level to the executive level.
  • Big picture thinking and practical execution skills to deliver enterprise talent and learning initiatives across the regions, functions, and business units.
  • Demonstrated experience advancing the long-term learning agenda, while executing on short-term initiatives.
  • Innovative and creative problem solver to explore new approaches to talent programs and metrics to measure of effectiveness of programs.
  • Experience with Talent Management systems, Learning Experience, and performance management platforms.
  • Strong project management and process management skills.
  • Superior verbal, written, presentation, influence, and facilitation skills
  • This position is eligible for relocation assistance.
