An established acute care hospital located in western North Carolina is now searching for an experienced Lead Radiation Therapist to join their award-winning healthcare organization.
This leading not-for-profit healthcare center is home to just over 200 inpatient beds and offers a variety of acute care, primary care, and tertiary care services. This location provides a number of award-winning services including cardiovascular care, oncology, surgical services, behavioral health, emergency and critical care, rehabilitative services, and much more.
The Lead Radiation Therapist will join a nationally accredited oncology service line that combines a team of dedicated hematologists, oncologists, oncology navigators, radiation oncologists, and registered dieticians. Working under the Radiation Oncologist, the Lead Radiation Therapist will oversee a team of 3 experienced radiation therapists and establish the workflow and standard of practice within the radiation therapy team. The Lead Radiation Therapist will manage department inventory, personnel management, professional development, regulatory compliance, and fiscal budget operations of the department.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy
- Current ARRT registration in radiation therapy
- Minimum 5 years of prior experience as a working Radiation Therapist
