The Lead Oncology Nurse Navigator will play an essential part in the hospital's cutting-edge cancer care services to provide professional nursing care for a disease-specific subset of oncology patients. In addition, navigation services individualized assistance to patients entering the healthcare system. This is done by helping patients overcome barriers to care and facilitating timely access. This is done in collaboration with the divisions of General Surgery, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Genetics Counseling, and other disciplines within the hospital system and the community.
This role is scheduled as four 10 hour shifts, with one of those days being remote! RNs with OCN Certified Nurses are encouraged to apply, as are Bone Marrow Transplant Nurses, Leukemia RN, Hem/Onc Nurses, Radiation Oncology Nurses, Chemotherapy Infusion Certified Nurses, Nurse Coordinators, Nurse Educators, and CNSs are also going to earn quick interviews.
