AIMS & ABLES Program
We are seeking Elementary Paraprofessionals to support our Extended School Year (ESY) AIMS and ABLES Program. This is a great opportunity for candidates with a background in special education who are interested in summer work supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday

Hours: 8:00 AM - 12:15 PM (25 hours per week)

Contract Length: 6 weeks

Start Date: June 29, 2026
Responsibilities
-
Provide classroom and 1:1 support to elementary students enrolled in the AIMS and ABLES ESY Program
-
Assist with implementation of academic, behavioral, and functional goals
-
Support students using ABA-based strategies and AAC devices
-
Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to ensure student success
Qualifications
-
Prior special education experience required
-
Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred
-
Familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices strongly preferred
-
Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged students
Minimum Requirements:
-
Bachelor's Degree or higher required
-
Teacher license/certification, as applicable by state, contract or district
-
One year of experience, preferred
-
Willingness and ability to accept direct responsibility for safety, wellbeing, or work output of other people
-
Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
-
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
-
Must be at least 18 years of age
