Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for ground-up commercial and multifamily projects
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and all relevant project documentation
  • Solicit and assess bids from subcontractors and vendor pricing
  • Develop precise budgets, conceptual estimates, and compelling bid proposals
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and preconstruction teams
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering and innovative cost-saving strategies

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of estimating experience with a general contractor
  • Demonstrated experience with ground-up commercial or multifamily construction (required)
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing
  • Proficient in estimating and takeoff software
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
