As a Registered Nurse II in the Emergency Department at Albany Medical Center, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering patient care throughout their stay. This includes implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments and procedures, and evaluating patient responses to care. You will collaborate with the nursing team to create a plan of care for all patients and maintain standards of professional nursing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical nursing experience in an Emergency Department, hold a current NYS Registered Nurse license, and obtain and maintain certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.

As a Level I Trauma Center and regional referral center, the Emergency Department at Albany Medical Center sees patients of all ages 24/7. With 45 rooms, including designated areas for different patient populations, the ED is equipped to handle a wide variety of acute care needs.
