Emergency Department Clinical Nurse II

Job Description

• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments and procedures as required
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
• Assess patient needs and responses to care
• Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for patients
• Guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional nursing program
• Must hold current Registered Nurse license
• Obtain and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Knowledge of quality concepts and principles
