Emergency Department Clinical Nurse

Job Description

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and special tests
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care
• Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for patients
• Direct and guide ancillary personnel

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree)
• Current Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of quality concepts and principles
