Compensation Pay Range: $14.42 - $20.40. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses, or premiums based on specific circumstances, schedules, or job performance.

The Delivery Coordinator is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of parts and products to professional customers using company vehicles. This role includes collecting payments on C.O.D. deliveries and retrieving customer returns.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers.
  • Utilize delivery fleet management hand-held devices for processing deliveries, capturing customer signatures, and completing daily inspections.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of delivery vehicles, conducting daily inspections before use.
  • Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel cards, and money collected at all times.
  • Handle customer returns and complete necessary documentation.
  • Communicate any customer issues or special requests to store management.
  • Immediately report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or damages to store management.
  • Ensure vehicles are properly fueled and secured at the end of the day.
  • Comply with company clock-in/out policies.
  • Perform additional duties as required, including customer service tasks like stocking, merchandising, and cashiering when needed.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

Required:

  • Strong sense of accuracy in matching alphanumeric sequences.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to dynamic delivery environments.
  • Driving record must meet company standards.
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license and meeting company mandated eligibility requirements.

Desired:

  • Familiarity with automotive parts.
  • Capability to operate various light store equipment.
  • Fluency in additional languages, particularly Spanish.
