Clinical Nurse II: General Med/Surg Hospitalist

Job Description Summary

• Administer medications and perform treatments, procedures, and special tests
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
• Assess patient needs and evaluate care responses
• Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses
• Collaborate with nursing team to create Plan of Care for patients
• Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain nursing standards

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of professional nursing program
• Current RN license
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of quality improvement principles and problem-solving tools
