Cardiothoracic Surgery Clinical Nurse III

This specialty unit cares for post-surgical patients, including those who have undergone cardiac and thoracic surgeries, cardiac catheterization, and other heart-related procedures. We are seeking nurses who are detail-oriented, committed to high-quality care, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced RN, there is room for growth in this role. Preferred skills include cardiac rhythm interpretation, medication management, and chest tube care, but are not required. Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders and administer medications
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
• Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a professional nursing program
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
