Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Store Manager where you will supervise customer service associates and oversee key operations in our Pharmacy and Retail Store. You will be instrumental in managing the front end of the store, making valuable recommendations to enhance overall operations.

In this role, you will support the Store Manager in achieving company goals and will manage store activities during their absence. Your leadership will ensure effective merchandising, asset protection, and increased store sales and profitability.

Customer Experience

  • Deliver top-notch customer service by greeting customers, assisting them with products, and promptly resolving complaints to create a positive shopping experience.
  • Train and coach team members to elevate customer service standards and empower them to exceed customer expectations.
  • Continuously work to improve customer service metrics and overall satisfaction.

Operations Management

  • Supervise daily store operations, including task delegation, scheduling shifts, and approving time records to ensure adequate team coverage.
  • Collaborate with external partners to support our store's community engagement initiatives.
  • Utilize data and team insights to make informed decisions that drive operational success.
  • Oversee cash management processes and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping and financial controls.
  • Manage inventory for both front-end and pharmacy operations, analyzing trends and implementing corrective action plans as necessary.
  • Enforce safety regulations and compliance with all laws and company policies.

Performance Management

  • Lead the recruitment, training, and development of team members to foster career advancement and a high-performing work environment.
  • Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and recognize achievements to enhance individual and team effectiveness.
  • Establish a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Training & Development

  • Engage in training programs and personal development to grow into a leadership role; maintain certifications as needed.
  • Commit to personal growth by seeking feedback and monitoring your performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on ethics, communication, and business acumen.
  • Willing to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be able to accept promotional opportunities, including relocation when required.

Compensation & Employment
